The multi-talented and vivacious Leah Panapa is a woman of many skills. With over three decades in broadcasting, she’s held many impressive posts that have seen her rise and shine through the ranks of New Zealand radio. Leah prides herself on hard work, connecting with people on and off the air and, at the end of the day, being able to have a good laugh. Her ability to have robust, deep conversations and keep the ball rolling has seen her win over ten radio awards.
As comfortable behind the microphone as on stage, Leah is an excellent MC and host. She is renowned for her fantastic sense of humour, warm nature and ability to woo any crowd. Having a natural affinity for engaging the audience, she perfectly balances professionalism and downright hilarity. Leah has a knack for reading a room, and her years of live radio experience have enabled her to think and react on the fly effortlessly.
Leah has hosted various events over the years, from hospitality charity to the NZ Law Awards and the Miss New Zealand competitions. She’s also held her own in debates against comedians like Jeremy Corbett and Gary McCormick.
In her spare time, Leah and her husband of 15 years, Mike, like to spend time with their dogs, Kasha and Kaiser, enjoying dinners with friends and being close to one of their favourite places - Waiheke Island, where they got married.
