Dan Webby

Dan Webby has always been a performer, so it’s no surprise he is now on one of New Zealand’s most popular breakfast radio shows “The Edge Breakfast”. Dan has a passion for finding humour in almost anything and loves pushing the boundaries to make the audience feel like they are being more than just entertained.

Dan attended Howick College and found a passion for theatre early on in his High School years. From there Dan has “treaded the boards” in numerous shows including West Side Story, Rent and Les Miserables at The Civic Auckland in 2019.

However, it's Radio that has proved the most successful medium for Dan. After studying Communications at AUT, his first professional role presented itself as Producer for Robert and Jono at The Rock. Since then, “Producer Dan” has helped build several successful radio shows at The Rock and The Edge and won numerous Radio Awards. In 2022 he was a finalist for “Best Commercial Voice” at The New Zealand Radio Awards.

But now starts a new era and from 2023 Dan is excited to be announced as a co-host on The Edge Network Breakfast show ‘Clint, Meg and Dan’. Using his talents in comedy, acting and music he has a unique brand that can be tailored to any event, conference or voicing project.

Dan lives in Auckland with his Wife Hanna and cat Kimi.
