Born and raised in beautiful Taranaki, Adam Bridges, aka “Bladebolt,” has been dubbed a “Creative Whizz Kid” ever since he was a youngster playing around with Lego bricks.

As a kid from the early 2000s, Adam is a true product of Gen Z, becoming YouTube-obsessed at a very young age and posting videos under the Bladebolt name since he was 11 (with parental supervision, of course). However, it wasn't until 2017 that he began to show both his face and personality, leading him to become the creator we know today. It wouldn’t be long before he went viral on a freshly rebranded TikTok app, and he hasn’t looked back since.

An ever-relevant short-form creator who isn't afraid to splash out on the editing, Bladebolt has seen consistent success across multiple platforms, earning him a combined following of over 100k. His “Kiwi Humour” and “Kiwi Cities” formats have garnered millions of views from across Aotearoa, putting him at the forefront of the new wave of NZ creators. Bladebolt has also had multiple successful brand partnerships and continues to be a reliable option for those who wish to reach a broad Kiwi audience. This viewership has started to bleed into his long-form content too, notably his “Every Album” series, where Adam deep dives into well-known music artists and reviews their discographies.

With a skill set that includes photography, cinematography, graphic design, visual art, and of course, video editing, Bladebolt’s videos have a sense of quality and energy that is hard to find in competing content. This polished yet genuine vibe, paired with Adam's bubbly personality and cheeky sense of humour, creates a formula that viewers can’t get enough of.
Although Creative Media is Adams no.1 passion, he also is an avid enjoyer of running, music, gaming and still to this day is known to indulge in building things with little plastic bricks.

As Bladebolt continues to grow, Adam has shown no signs of slowing down, cementing himself as a creator you want to keep an eye on.
