Ayeesha Taylor

Portfolio Bio
10.5K

Ayeesha is a multi-faceted creative with an extensive list of talents under her belt.

An established documentary film maker and photographer, her journey as a creative began in 2016, when her then-partner was in a life altering car crash. Whilst aiding his recovery, a documentary was made about his experience. It was here, that Ayeesha says she became inspired by the art of storytelling. This inspiration took her to London, and then India, where she captured people and stories that moved her and began sharing them through social media, gaining mass attention.

Her passion has taken her all over the world, taking incredible photographs for her business Prints by Ayeesha, and collecting gorgeous one-of-a-kind pieces for her rental business Style For a While. An absolute style icon herself, she wanted to provide Auckland with access to unique items of clothing, something she says she finds uncommon here.

Since returning home, Ayeesha attended South Seas film school, and received national attention for her documentary Tall Poppy Chopping, where she revealed some ugly truths about Tall Poppy Syndrome based on her own experiences in Aotearoa. She also worked on The Apprentice Aotearoa 2021, creating all of the challenges that were played out in the show.

Today, she can be seen hopping from destination to destination throughout the country, photographing weddings, or creating stunning travel content, and looking absolutely fab while she’s at it.
