Hailing from Northland, rising All Black star Jack Goodhue is one to watch.
Jack has been described as simply “a delightful human,” he is very humble and grounded in spite of his many successes.
A real all-rounder, bubbly Josh has a fantastic sense of humour. Easy to be around, he’s the type of guy who will make friends everywhere he goes.
His likeability and intelligence were demonstrated in his final year at high school, when he was awarded the coveted Head Boy position at Auckland’s Mt Albert Grammar School. Hard work and dedication has ensured Jack is on a trajectory to success – making his debut as an All Black at just 22 years old.
Study continues for Jack. Following school, he moved to Southland to study a Bachelor of Agricultural Sciences at Lincoln University. As a seriously in-demand player, this presented Jack with the opportunity to play for the Crusaders.
Community minded, he frequently involves himself in initiatives for the good of the community. His strong Christian beliefs and influence has made charitable work a big part of what he believes to be important in life.
Jack is a passionate and inspiring public speaker, his ready smile and quick wit making him a delightful addition to any event.
If the Goodhue name sounds familiar, it may well be! Jack has a twin brother, Josh – another rugby star – currently playing for the Blues.
